  In the scrap processing business we have a lot of large, expensive equipment that needs to be kept running. A+ Machine has been very helpful in making repairs and parts in a timely manner. We sometimes find it necessary to improve the design or use better materials in replacement parts. A+ machine has worked with us to alter designs and find better materials to produce parts that solve recurring problems. We had a problem breaking pins and ruining bushings in a grapple. A+ machine built pins and bushings that have been trouble-free for almost two years. They machined T's for our hydraulic pumps out of a block of steel to replace the factory welded T's, making a strong T at half the price of the factory unit. I had tried to have other machine shops build these T's but A+ was the only one who would.
  
  We had boom pins on our cranes that would turn in the base, breaking bolts and coming out, risking a boom collapse. Bill helped us design and build a set-up to solve the problem and he was able to do the machine work on the cranes at our facility.
  
  Our Harris shear has always had a problem pulling the followers off from the clamp. We came up with a solution and A+ helped with engineering, finding material and building a new clamp and followers. This is a large piece about 10 inches thick, 5 feet wide and 8 feet tall that bolts on wear plates. Everything fit and works well and we haven't had a problem with the followers.
