MANUFACTURE TIE BARS & TIE BAR NUTS TO YOUR MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS

 

A Plus Machine manufactures or repairs all types and styles of tie bars, tie rods or a-frame bars.  We have several prints in-house to manufacture from or we can manufacture to your existing prints or broken tie bar.

 

When an existing tie bar is repaired the following work is completed:

• Weld-up and turn tie bar to original diameter of tie bar.
• Cut / chase threads.
• Fit tie bar threads to gages.
• Polish tie bar.

 

The manufacturing of a new tie bar requires the following work be completed:

• Cut raw material to length.
• Rough turn outside diameter of tie bar.
• Cut grooves or thread reliefs.
• Complete mill work applicable to die cast machine tie bar specifications.
• Fit tie bar threads to gages.

A Plus Machine manufactures all types and styles of tie bar nuts from in-house prints (if available) or from your existing prints or tie bar nut.  In addition, in some cases it is possible to repair an existing tie bar nut by adding an insert in the tie bar nut.

 

New tie bar nuts can be manufactured and the following work is completed:

• Rough turn outside diameter of tie bar nut and bore inside diameter of tie bar nut.
• Finish bore inside and outside diameter of tie bar nut.
• Thread and face tie bar nut to specified length.
• Mill, drill and tap applicable to mating parts of tie bar nut being manufactured.
